Laborer: We are looking for hardworking individuals with retaining wall construction experience or the necessary skills and aptitude to learn. Our ideal candidate will:
Have experience in building segmental block or pre-cast retaining wall systems
Be able to operate various pieces of machinery including skid steers, excavators, compactors, dozers, etc.
Be willing to perform hands on manual labor required to complete the jobs
Be able to read and comprehend construction drawings
These attributes can be taught to the right candidate.
Our candidate MUST have the following:
Respect for others as they will be working with a team
Reliable transportation
Capability of passing a drug screen
Capability of lifting as much as 70 lbs throughout the day
This is a full time position based out of the Birmingham/Tuscaloosa area. Candidate must have ability to work 40+ hours per week and some Saturdays. Some out of town travel may be required as projects dictate.
Pay will be reflective of experience. Minimum starting pay will be $15 per hour. Health/dental insurance is available.
